MOSTI Malaysia is bringing in collectively more than 60 agencies, organizations, and institutions to exhibit new technologies or initiatives.
If Thomas Edison was a Malaysian Youth in the year 2023, he would either attend the Malaysian Commercialisation Year Summit (MCY) or share with us at Youth Forum how he created and sell the lightbulb in less than 10,000 tries! We are not kidding. The Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation of Malaysia (MOSTI) is bringing in collectively more than 60 agencies, organizations, and institutions to exhibit new technologies or initiatives, discuss the challenges of commercialization and showcase the positive socioeconomic impact of sustainable innovation.

Well, the Youth Forum is one of the main attractions for MCY, and it's one of the first times where they actually care what young people have to say about innovation! Arriving at MCY Youth Forum, you would meet other like-minded youths ranging from young professionals, entrepreneurs, innovators, and also university students who are there plotting to change the world. We have a 30-minute session bringing in the best minds in Malaysia to discuss issues around talent and sustainable development.
Pitch to Real Innovators
We also have a special appearance by the CEO of the Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation (MRANTI), Dzulera Abu Bakar as the keynote speaker to open the forum where she will also share with us some insider information about innovation and commercialization in Malaysia. Other than pushing the agenda of innovation forward, MRANTI also provides many opportunities and initiatives for people to kickstart their commercialization journey. Together with the panelist, she will be judging Youth Ventures Asia Chill Pitch Episode 5 where five amazing student entrepreneurs from public and private institutions share their innovative business ideas and try to get feedback from the judges!
Network With Industry Players and Policy Makers
We know bringing in the industry to discuss is not enough. What if we provide a safe space for you to network with the industry while discussing the next big thing? Well, after the closing ceremony by the Deputy Minister of MOSTI, YB Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, you guys will get a chance to network, discuss and exchange ideas during our networking session. You shall eat, make friends and talk about innovation!
